Sorry if I spelled 'Scholes' wrong but I was wondering if anyone had any information on this.

I've had a very strange encounter there by the waterfall where they Baptize people.

I doubt it. They wouldn't bury a pagan in a christian cemetery that old. I did hear that there are slave graves..but that is probably just a rumor too.

Most of those graves are actually Civil War graves. I have had my own experiences out there but I dont think it has to do with the cemetery. I think this location has something else going on.

While hanging out at the falls around midnight one night 3 friends and my self got the feeling that we were being watched. Then you could her something paceing in the woods. We got creeped out and decided to leave. First at a casual walk being that we didn't have a flashlight and the bridge wasn't built yet. We could hear something following us and started fast walking when something grabbed me (no explanation of what grabbed me. Thats when we started running we got to the car and the auto-locks wouldn't open the car. Finally got in the car and took off. The drive while rushing got turned around and we went down this dirt road that dead ended into a field. When the drive looked over his shoulder to back up he froze. I looked to see what he was staring at. There stood a huge 7 ft tall furry creature that had glowing eyes. This may sound crazy but I swear I seen a werewolf. I screamed to run it over and the driver hit the gas. This creature got down on all fours and started running.

Georgia does have an old werewolf legend, actually.  The epicenter of those sightings was about 99 miles from High Shoals.

That's actually you say that. There have been several werewolf sightings in that area and the area around it. Extending, even, all the way to Lucus road.

You my friend saw the Wompus Cat. I guess it is a nickname for it. I have a buddy who said him and his brother were at their house and they looked out the basement door and saw a white figure. They grabbed a gun and went to shoot at it and it Jumped in the air and was gone.
Another time me and my buddy was at his mom house and we seen a white image and it started running so we did too. Not sure if it was the "Wompus Cat" but it wasnt something normal.
