walmart?
« on: October 02, 2007, 01:18:48 PM »
I was having a discussion with a friend about some of the experiences he has had and he was telling me about when he use to work at a Wal Mart, how he was sure he had a run in with a ghost.

I, also, believe that I have seen ghost at our local Wal Mart on a few occasions and was just wondering if anyone else had heard about this from their friends/family or had experiences of their own there.

Well I've not experienced any in any of the local walmarts that I've been in,
could be an active spirit from what was there before?
And kind of a side note why does it seem that all the big warehouses that I've ever been in at night seem to be active in one way or another?
Our main ware house has a ghost I think that I call Roy, after a gentleman who used to work here, he passed on about 6 months ago.
And the building across the street that we occasionally rent for overflow or special projects has a very unwelcome feel and I have had several encounters over there.

Maybe due to the fear cage effect. High Emf could definitely be in warehouses.

Humm I looked up Fear cage effect and found some very interesting articles,
and that got me to wondering about EMF and I tried a couple of experements
this evening with my homemade detector umm don't laugh to loudly K?
and it's a given that most warehouses have a lot of wire, and any current flow will generate an emf (even a long enough unenergized wire will have a 60hz natural current on it) my problem is the tunable coil for the reciever great big unwieldy thing.

But I did encounter high field strengths in the ware house strangely enough in the 340 hz band quite possibly because of the ballasts in the lighting.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Well it's basicly 3 ft long and about a foot wide and very ugly, got the idea  after shopping and everything that was what I thought I wanted was way out of my price range, and everything in my price rance seemed pretty limited. So I put my mind to the task, and had the thought that hey this is the same thing that we use to locate cables at work, and we had several broken and out dated recievers laying around the shop so using one of those for a base point I just had to come up with a wide range tunable coil and tie it all together.

try it at 40hz, then look up the work of Dr. Robert Persinger...  very cool stuff.
Amid disquieting dreams in the night, when deep sleep falls on men, fear and trembling seized me and made all my bones shake.  A spirit glided past my face, and the hair on my body stood on end.  Job 4:13-15

I know that the Wal-Mart in Carrollton was built on the location of some old farm houses. It also always bugged me that they put it right next to a cemetery, slowly carving into the ground to make their parking lot.

Several of the staff have told me that they have felt hands on them during the night shift. When they look around, no one is near.

interesting you should say that. a member of our team works there and has made some claims of sightings from not just himself but other employees too.
