Grey Man of Pawley's Island

A couple years back one of our PPS members took a photograph of what we believe to be The Grey Man of Pawley's Island which is a story that has been featured in numerous books and television specials.

Besides the picture he took there is only one other known picture of him to exist.

From what I can personally make out in the image he does appear to be a sailor from another time era. I can see a thick coat and some style of hat. As mentioned in another post here it's believed to be a balaclava.



What are your thoughts? Are you able to see what we are seeing?



If this is in fact the Grey Man then this is the second known photo of him to exist and from what I can tell the clearest.

I can add that this was taken on a Sunday and a storm was scheduled to come ashore the following Monday.
